How it works

Three steps, then it's personal

Tell iM Bite what matters to you once. After that, every scan is about you.

1

Choose what matters

Pick the checks you care about — digestion, diabetes, halal, weight, allergies, and more — plus your personal details.

2

Scan or search food

Scan a barcode, search by name, or take a photo. iM Bite pulls nutrition and ingredients and reads them for you.

3

See if it fits

Get one overall fit score, a breakdown per check, the reasons behind it, and better options when it doesn't fit.

Why iM Bite

One food, many meanings.

“Healthy” is the wrong question. The same cheese pizza can be okay for weight in a small slice, risky for cholesterol, vegetarian but not vegan, and halal only if it's certified. iM Bite shows every meaning at once — for you.

Built to trust

Clear answers, not verdicts

iM Bite is simple, helpful and personal — never scary or judgmental.

Scan or search anything

Scan a barcode, search a food by name, or add ingredients yourself. Packaged and whole foods both work.

Only the checks you chose

Your home screen shows only the categories you care about. No noise, no lectures — just what matters to you.

A reason for every score

iM Bite never just says “bad.” It tells you exactly why — the ingredients and nutrients behind each number.

Better options, instantly

Doesn't fit? See close alternatives that score higher for your profile, so you always have a next choice.

Your safe & avoid lists

Save foods that fit, flag the ones that don't, and build a personal list you can trust at a glance.

Serious about allergens

For allergens we say “contains,” “may contain,” or “unknown” — never a false promise that something is safe.

Food guidance, not medical advice

iM Bite provides food information and personalized suitability scores based on nutrition, ingredient, and product data. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. For allergies, diabetes, heart disease, digestive disorders, pregnancy, kidney disease, medication interactions, or religious certification, verify the product label and consult a qualified professional before eating.

FAQ

Good questions

How is iM Bite different from a calorie app?+

Most food apps give one general health score. iM Bite gives you many personal scores for the same food — because the same pizza can be fine for weight in a small portion, risky for cholesterol, vegetarian but not vegan, and halal only if certified. It answers “does this fit me,” not “is this healthy.”

Where does the food data come from?+

Nutrition and ingredient data comes from trusted open sources such as USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. Scoring is mostly rule-based and transparent, with AI used to explain scores in plain language and suggest alternatives.

Is iM Bite a medical app?+

No. iM Bite provides food information and personalized suitability scores. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. For allergies, diabetes, heart disease, pregnancy, kidney disease, medication interactions, or religious certification, always verify the label and consult a qualified professional.

How does the halal and kosher check work?+

iM Bite checks ingredients for pork, alcohol, gelatin and animal-derived additives. But for halal and kosher, ingredients alone aren't always enough — certification matters. When it can't confirm, iM Bite says “unknown” and asks you to verify the certification, rather than guessing.

What do I get for free?+

The free plan includes 5 scans a day, 3 active checks, basic nutrition facts, simple warnings, and your last 10 foods. Premium unlocks unlimited scans, every check, comparisons, alternatives, saved lists and export — with a 3-day free trial.

Which languages and regions are supported?+

iM Bite launches in English first, with more languages and regional food databases planned. It's built by Nobleman Labs, the studio behind VorX, VorBook, Gol2 and ModoSnap.
